About me

My name is Hanka and I am a self-taught developer 👩‍💻. I am currently working on applications primarily in JavaScript, Typescript, React, NextJS, and Remix. I have a passion for learning new things and enjoy sharing my knowledge and thoughts on various development-related topics.

In addition, I am a huge Star Wars fan and even have a tattoo of Baby Yoda to prove it. I also enjoy traveling and running 🏃‍♀️, having completed a few half marathons already!

My origin story

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a child was born - a curious, smart, and stubborn girl. She wanted to become the most powerful Jedi ever, but unfortunately, she was never tested for her midi-chlorian levels. Instead of undergoing Jedi training, she played football, ice hockey, and listened to pop punk music. However, she never gave up on her dream of becoming a hero, she just needed to find a different path.

Then, one day, she was suddenly inspired by Batman because heroes, apparently, are not born, but made. From that day forward, she started training to become stronger and better: no matter the bruises, injuries, sweat, and blood. However, since money was needed for the Batmobile and all those cool gadgets, she entered the IT industry. During the day, she is nailing it as a software engineer, becoming rich and famous. But as night fell, she donned the cape and becoming a true hero, making the world a better place.

No matter how many bugs and unwanted features she has to conquer, she will continue to fight for a better world.
